I just spotted the original super soaker for sale at Zellers for $19.97. I was pretty tempted to buy one right then and there, as this brings back lots of childhood memories. It looks like this updated version is pretty much unchanged from the original, except for the redesigned water reservoir.

Man I should go pick one up, that was the best super soaker I ever owned. I don’t know about the water reservoir redesign though, as the ability to remove the bottle in the old design increased water refilling options.
Yea..it was definitely the best super soaker. I’m not sure about the new bottle design either. It doesn’t look like it can be removed and used as a grenade in close quarter combat anymore.
