I have been badly neglecting this blog over the last month or two. Last week, I finished my last exam for the summer semester and have decided to kick start this blog back into action.

This week, I will be posting a picture a day. Here is the first one. I am back home for a break between semesters and my family is going to be cooking a lamb in a pit next weekend.

For those unfamiliar with cooking underground, check out this article.

We just dug the pit yesterday. Check out the pic below:rock-pit

tucows-shirtA few days ago, I found this hilarious shirt at the local Value Village, which is rapidly become my favourite store. Most of my current wardrobe is from either Value Village or the Salvation army. This yellow gem is not a bad addition for $3.99.

The shirt highlights the main reason why I do blog: to be heard.

If you can’t read the quote on the screen:

Blog blog, bloggity blog, blog bloggity, blog, Moo

Also, last winter I found an awesome liquor dispenser, that has since seized up, but we were able to have one bottle of fun out of it first. I think the problem is that we put fireball in it. I am guessing that the sugar in the fireball seized it up.

Yes, me and my housemates just bought a car. It’s a 1985 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight. Pretty nice eh?

I think that we got a great deal, as we only payed $150 for it. As you can see, we’ve already given it a custom paint job. I think that brought the value up to around $2500. There is definitely more to come. We’ve only had the car for a few days and this is what it looks like already.

Check out some pics below. Sorry for the bad quality. The batteries in my camera are dead, so I had to use my phone.Black PwnageBlack PwnageBlack Pwnage

10. People who believe in talking snakes and virgin births are allowed to hold public office. Currently it is the opposite; belief is basically a requirement.

9. Libraries still use the dewey-decimal system.

8. Sending a text message costs 10cents, but a data plan costs $10/month. What’s the difference….it’s all digital signals.

7. It’s cool to be dumb in high school.

6. People actually watch Fox news.

5. 91% of Americans believe in god.

4. $1.2 trillion can buy this, a bit outdated but still a good article.

3. People still use Internet Explorer 6, or less. IE 6 accounts for 30% of IE traffic on this site. Overall I am actually pretty impressed with my readers. My site is viewed by Firefox 75% of the time, well ahead of the Internet average. That reminds me, make sure to download Firefox 3 tomorrow.

2. People pay for bottled water.

1. The Homeschooling Science Fair (Where is the science?) I feel really sorry for this girl, but I am putting her picture up anyways:
