About Me
My name is Adrian Corscadden. I am the author of this humble blog. I started this back in August 2007 and have been posting more and more frequently since then. Ok, so recently, I have been posting less and less, as school gets more intense. I post about anything that interests me, which usually interest my readers too. Blogging has been very rewarding for me, as writing for the public forces me to explore and express my ideas better than if I kept them to myself.
Here are 5 things you should know about me
1. I am an engineering student at the University of Victoria, in British Columbia, Canada.
2. I see the beauty in science and like sharing this with other people.
3. I am a gadget geek. If I had the money, I would own every piece of gadgetry from a Newton to a Blackberry.
4. I am an Atheist.

Leave a CommentThank you for not being afraid of being an atheist. it bothers me that there is a stigma about atheism, and more of us should be open about our (non?) faith.

Shane, atheism’s stigma is warranted. All educated people know of the genocidal history of atheists, and how, in a single century, they’ve committed over 2,000% more murders than all religions combined throughout history. We also have research data which shows that atheists are less honest, less respectful of life, donate less to charity, and more likely to be incarcerated. There’s also various studies which link atheism to many psychological disorders.
If atheists ever want to become respected members of society and not considered dangerous crackpots, they’ll have to drastically improve their attitudes. Take a look at the negative tone of this blog and its author. If the most the typical atheist has to offer is ridiculing the beliefs of others, then it’s no wonder they spend the majority of their lives in their grandparents basements watching Star Trek and playing Magic: The Gathering.

I find it mildly puzzling that the more relevant point people get is… you being an atheist. I just started following you on twitter, let’s see what you are up to
