The XLERATOR has met its match

Ok, I know this post will seem random, but if you have used either one of the products that I will talk about below, you would understand.

I used to think that the XLERATOR was by far the best hand drier on the market. When I lived in St. Andrews, Scotland, there were a few pubs in that city that had XLERATORS and I would give them my patronage solely due to the fact that they had XLERATORS.

Today, I used a new hand drier that I had never seen before. It was so awesome that I had to take a picture of it after using it. It is called the airblade and it’s made by dyson. It is “the only hand drier that literally scrapes water from hands.”

    Check out the pick below.

    Vintage Fraud exposed by Science

An Australian study used carbon-14 dating to determine the actual age of wines. The results are not incredibly surprising. They found that 5% of wines are actually not of the advertised age. From a wine maker’s point of view, this would be a pretty easy scam to pull off, as no one but the finest wine connoisseurs would probably be able to notice.

I wonder if those crazy creationists that don’t “believe” in carbon-14 dating would buy this?

    My new Homepage

After this webpage made it to the front page of reddit last night, I now have a new homepage.

    http://welcometointernet.org

There is audio as well, so go check it out for yourself. It might seem like it would get annoying after a while, but I’ve been using it for 12 hours, and I haven’t got sick of it yet. A big part of that might be because I rarely open new browser windows. Chrome is almost always open.

Anyways, I’ll let you know when I get sick of it and revert back to Chrome’s new tab page as my homepage.

    welcome to internet

The Good Old Hockey Game Song gets updated

Stompin’ Tom’s “The Good Old Hockey Game” is probably one of the most well know hockey songs. I was pretty disappointed that he didn’t play in the closing ceremonies.

Blackwater Crude has slightly modified the song to include the story of the 2010 gold medal winning squad.

Finally, a graph that shows correlation and causation.

Last week, the mighty Canadian Hockey team (not “Ice Hockey” as Amuricans call it, but just Hockey) triumphed over the US and ended the miracle. Many Canadians tuned in to watch the game and their viewing habits appeared in Edmonton’s water consumption.

…that’s a lot of toilets flushing during intermission…
