That is rediculously slow, like 3x56kbps slow. I don’t know too much about Shaw’s usage policy, but in Ontario it seems that if you go over the ISPs just charge you extra money per GB and keep the speed the same. I’d call them up to see what is up. You may have to give up on a bit of torrenting or at least pay more money for a better plan.
Hey, Your throttled down speed is still running much faster than my dial-up service. No other service available here in rural northeast America – DSL and Cable have not made it here yet – other option is satellite, but it is pricy. Thanks

Yea…I definitely have to phone Shaw and ask them what’s up. I can’t deal with this much longer.
