It didn’t take long for Greg Gutfeld to apologize for his segment about the Canadian military that went viral a few days ago. The only problem with his apology, is that I dislike the guy even more now. The apology did negative work.

The fact that most of us took what they were saying seriously and especially by having Peter McKay respond gave credence to him and his show. We should have let guys like Rick Mercer respond for us. Do you think Colin Powel would have ever gone of TV to address something done on Royal Canadian Air Farce?

I guess people that were offended don’t watch his show. The guy pokes fun at everything. The fact that people in actual positions of authority in Canada spoke up about a comedy show taking a jab at them is highly amusing. I have great respect for their military and the fact that they have backed the US in a number of actions (especially WWII), but wow do they have thin skin. What is next…their PM speaking out against South Park? I just hope he doesn’t lose his edge because of heat like this.
