I seem to be using more and more google products. My life has become googleized. I am generally happy with their products, which is why I use them. There is a need for one small addition.
The header on the google homepage should be customizable. My two most used google products are gmail and reader. Reader is mysteriously absent from the default header.
Am I the only one who has a problem with this?

Leave a CommentI added Google Reader to my iGoogle, so it’s not that big an issue for me.
But I’m having a similar problem with Google Pilipinas — our local Google homepage here. It doesn’t contain a link to Google News, so I have to type http://news.google.com whenever I want to search for news items. I wish they’ll include it even if there aren’t too many news sites in our language.

I’ll have to agree with you in here.
When they annoounced that Reader is no longer Beta product (was it back in summer?), I thought that it would immediately appear in that header in Google Mail, Google Calender, etc., but I haven’t yet seen it there. However, I haven’t taken too much stress about it, because I have Google’s mail, reader, etc. as icon’s on my browser’s toolbars.

I have been waiting patiently for it to appear as well… Google has been doing a bunch of upgrades (breaking blogger, updating PR, etc.) So it might just be in the works!

I hope they do update it soon.
I doesn’t really need a lot of work. It would just be nice to be able to customize which items are displayed.
Hello, Google? Are you listening?
