After a fair amount of constructive criticism, I have redesigned my entrecard. While keeping the aspect that I liked, primarily the text based simplicity, I have added a graphic and generally de-uglified it. It still doesn’t look professional yet, but it is a step in the right direction.
One problem that I foresee is that the colours are similar to google ads’ default color scheme.
What do you guys think about the new design?

If you’re concerned about it being “set off” from googls ads – just put a border on it or something.

You said exactly what I was thinking when I first saw it. It looks exactly like a Google ad. If I didn’t know what it was, I would skip right over it.

I agree. The graphic didn’t really “jump out” or grab my attention right off the bat. Agree that border may help. Other than that, it looks clean and nice. Maybe implement some red color in it. Marketing professionals say thats the color that grabs the attention. Good luck. Fawnzy.com

Well its a lot better than mine (default green one) but what you probably need to do is use a fancy font of some sort….
